２０２５年１月２６日（日）にリアル・イベントを開催しました。
沢山の子どもたちとお父さん、お母さん、そして先生方が集まってくれました。
１２月から先生方が集まって、ああでも、こうでもない！
と、先生方が考えてくださった企画は４つ。
1. 借りもの競争
2. あいうえおカルタ
3. 節分と豆まき 「鬼のお面」作り
4. 日本の歌「夕焼け小焼け」の合唱
どれも大成功！
子どもたちにとって外国である日本！
日本語が出来なくて不安を感じている子どもたちに
沢山の日本の先生が寄り添って一所懸命考えた企画を
みんな楽しんでくれた様に思います。
先生はみな、仕事や学業で忙しく、時間を作るのも本当に大変だったけれど、
子どもたちの笑顔に癒されました。
こんな光景が、日本国中たくさんの場所で生まれると良いなぁと願っています。

A real event was held on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Many children, mothers, fathers, and teachers gathered together.
Teachers had been gathering since December to discuss things like this and not like this!
The teachers came up with four plans.
- Borrowed Race
- "AIUEO" Karuta
- Setsubun and Bean Throwing: Making “Oni Masks
- ”Chorus of the Japanese song “Yuyake Koyake”
All a great success!
Japan is a foreign country for children!
For children who are worried about not being able to speak Japanese,
many Japanese teachers came together to create a plan that was carefully thought out.
So everyone seemed to be able to enjoy it.
All the teachers were busy with work and schoolwork,
and it was really difficult to find time, however, we were healed by the smiles of the children.
I hope that scenes like this will be created in many places across Japan.

借り物競争ではたくさんのお題を考えて、
そのお題ごとに子どもたちにお題のモノを見つけてきてもらいます。
お題は、例えば「黒い四角いメガネ」や「青い帽子」。
お題のモノは先生方が着たり、被ったり！
子どもたちは、手にしたお題に合わせて一人一人の先生方に
「『黒い四角いメガネ』はありますか？」「それを貸して下さい！」と
お話ししなければなりません。
会場の中は子どもたちと先生方の会話で、まるで本当の市場みたい！
子どもたち一人ひとりが日本人とお話しすることに自信を持てて、
楽しめるきっかけになったら良いなぁを思っています。
In the "Borrowed Race", we thought of many questions quiz,
for each topic, which asks the children to find the object.
Examples of themes are "black square glasses'' and "blue hat.''
Teachers wear or cover the items in question in the venue!
The children will ask each of their teachers one by one
according to the question topic they have picked up.
“Do you have any black square glasses?” “Please lend me those!”
They have to talk and ask to one by one.
Inside the venue, there were a lot of conversations between children and teachers,
making it feel like a real market!
I hope any child can gain confidence in speaking with Japanese people
to enjoy it through this game.
あいうえお かるた

あいうえおカルタは平仮名を勉強し始めた子どもたちとシンプルにカルタ遊びをするもの。
日本人からすると簡単に思える平仮名も、外国にルーツのある子どもたちにとっては
文字の形も発音も決して簡単なモノではありません。
それは英語を学び始めた日本人が「R」と「L」の発音の違いに戸惑ったり、
「p」と「q」の形の違いを覚えにくかったりするのと全く同じ、いや、それ以上かもしれません。
子どもたちは半年もすると平仮名もカタカナも漢字も使いこなしてくるので、レベルは本当に千差万別。
但し参加してくれた子たちは、既に日本の高校に合格したレベルの子も含めて「平仮名」「カタカナ」に
苦労してきた経験があり、みんな楽しく遊んでくれました！
"AIUEO Karuta" is a game of playing Karuta among children who have just started studying "Hiragana" originally.
"Hiragana" is easy for Japanese people, but it is difficult for children with foreign roots.
Neither the shape nor the pronunciation of the letters is easy.
It is as same as when Japanese started learning English, they feel the dificult of the difference in pronunciation of "R" and "L" and, remembering the difference between the shapes of "p" and "q".
After six months, children will be using "Hiragana", "Katakana", and "Kanji", so their levels are truly diverse.
However, any of the children who participated, including those who had already passed Japanese high school entrance exams, has experienced the hardness to learne "Hiragana'' and "Katakana".
So, everyone seemed to be fun!
節分と豆まき
「鬼のお面作り」

今年の節分、２月２日が近かったので、
今回は日本の古くからの文化の紹介として「節分」を選びました。
毎年、何気なく、当たり前の様にやっている「節分」という文化・行事を
外国にルーツのある子どもたちにも楽しんでもらえる様に、
ちゃんと一から勉強して、何をどんな風に伝えると良いかなぁと考えました。
１０００年以上前の平安時代から、家族や世の中の毎日が平和で穏やかであることを願って、
延々と続いてきた日本の文化を「鬼のお面作り」を通じて、
子どもたちや親御さんたちに感じてもらえたら良いなぁと願うばかりです。
「毎年、何気なく、当たり前の様にやっている「節分」という文化・行事を
外国にルーツのある子どもたちにも楽しんでもらえる様に、
今回は、クイズ形式で「節分」について学んだ後に、
皆で鬼のお面を作ることにしました。
また、家に帰った後も家族で話題にしてもらえるように、
親御さん向けに文化や歴史的な背景を説明するリーフレットも用意しました。」

The culture and event of "Setsubun'' that we casually and naturally do every year,
so that even children with foreign roots can enjoy it,
we studied carefully from scratch and thought about what we should say and how we should convey it.
Since the Heian period more than 1,000 years ago, we have been praying for peace and calm for families and the world every day,
through the "making of demon masks", we had introduced the long-lasting Japanese culture in this "Minato Glocal real event".
We just hope that the children and their parents can feel it.
"The culture and event of "Setsubun,'' which we casually and naturally do every year,
so that even children with foreign roots can enjoy it, this time, after learning about "Setsubun" through a quiz,
we all decided to make demon masks.
Also, so that people can talk about it with their families even after they get home,
we have also prepared a leaflet explaining the cultural and historical background for parents as follows.
それにしても、手を動かして紙を切り、色を塗って形を整える！
子どもたちはとても集中して楽しんでくれて、
そこから隣同士、親とこども、また先生方とも会話が生まれる、
とても素敵な光景だったと思います。
Apart from that story, using your hands to cut the paper, color it, and shape it,
any children were very focused and had fun.
This created conversations between neighbors in each table, parents and children, and even teachers a lot.
I think it was a very wonderful sight.
日本の歌 「夕焼け小焼け」
Japanese Song "Yuyake Koyake"

みなとGlocalのリアルイベントで、歌をみんなで歌う試みは初めて！
平仮名もやっと読み始めた子もおり、日本の歌なんて歌えるのかしら・・・！？
と不安いっぱいでトライしましたが、小さな声だったけれど、一人一人みんなトライして、
「日本の歌をみんなで歌えて楽しかった！」というコメントも沢山もらえました。
歌は何にしようかなぁ！？と色々悩んで、日本の子どもたちが皆んな知ってる「夕焼け小焼け」に。
先ずはギターに合わせて、日本人の先生方がみんなでお手本！？
少しずつ、慣れてもらって、子どもたちと素敵な合唱ができました。
いつか日本を離れてしまう子ども達の心の中に、日本の風景、「夕焼け小焼け」が
綺麗な思い出として残ってくれると良いなぁと祈っています。
It was the first trial for everyone to sing together at a "Minato Glocal" event!
I wonder if a child who has started reading "Hiragana'' can sing Japanese songs! ?
I tried with such an anxiety, but the voice was small, but everyone tried, and
we received many comments such as "It was fun to sing Japanese songs together!'
After thinking about what song to sing, we decided on "Yuyake Koyake", which is a song that all Japanese children know.
First of all, all the Japanese teachers showed to sing with the guitar sounds! ?
Little by little, the children got used to it, and we were able to sing together wonderfully.
The scenery of Japan, “Yuyake Koyake” will be in the hearts of children who leave Japan someday,
I hope that it will remain as a beautiful memory.
